From 28 to 31 October, several members of France Sport Expertise attended the FSB trade fair in Cologne, a major international event dedicated to public spaces, sports and leisure facilities and infrastructure. This trade fair has established itself as one of the main international meeting places for decision-makers, local authorities, architects, operators and manufacturers in the sector, with more than 500 exhibitors from over 40 countries attending the last edition.
In halls 10.1 and 10.2, several member companies of the consortium were able to showcase their complementary expertise:
- Metalu Plast, European leader in the manufacture of sports equipment and multi-sports grounds, with over forty years of experience serving local authorities, clubs and operators.
- Alcor Équipements, designer of modular, demountable and mobile grandstands, which installs several hundred thousand seats each year in France and internationally, in compliance with the most demanding safety standards.
- Dimasport, a French brand renowned for its athletics, gymnastics and indoor sports equipment, also has a strong presence in the motor skills, school sports and physical training segment.
- Osmose Ingénierie, an independent design and engineering firm specialising in the design of sustainable sports and recreational spaces in France and internationally. They are notably behind the iconic athletics track for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
It is through our members, their skills, expertise and sense of community that France Sport Expertise illustrates the diversity and complementarity of the French industry. We master the entire value chain of a major international sporting or cultural event: from infrastructure design to field equipment, including engineering, foundations and the sustainability of our projects.
By exhibiting in Cologne, these companies embody the excellence, creativity and environmental commitment of the French Sport Touch, thereby helping to strengthen France’s role in the global sports equipment ecosystem and its leading position in production technique innovation.
