On 18–19 June 2026, the French Ministry for the Economy, Finance, and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty hosted the 4th edition of Vision Golfe in Paris.
Organised by Business France, under the High Patronage of President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron, this flagship business event between France and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries brought together ministers, executives and investors around the theme “From Cooperation to Transformation.”
Thirteen high-level panels and dedicated B2B meetings punctuated the two days. France Sport Expertise, represented by its Executive President Sophie Lorant, took part alongside Eva Baldessin, Managing Director.
Sport, major events and infrastructure at the heart of the discussions
As the collective representing French expertise and excellence in sport, major events and related infrastructure, France Sport Expertise engaged with several partners behind some of the region’s most ambitious projects: Expo 2030 Riyadh, Diriyah Company, Qiddiya, the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, King Salman International Airport, the Sports Boulevard Foundation, the FIFA World Cup 2034 in Saudi Arabia, and the Royal Commission for AlUla.
From major sporting events and venue development to operations, technology, fan experience and legacy planning, the Gulf region continues to establish itself as a global hub for innovation and delivery on large-scale projects.
Vision Golfe 2026 gave FSE the opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships, build new ones, and showcase the expertise developed through some of the largest international events staged in France, starting with Paris 2024.

A geopolitical outlook, a collective at work
The forum also featured an address by Jean-Yves Le Drian, who offered a sharp read of the shifts under way in the Gulf, including the region’s growing assertiveness as a first-rank actor in resolving regional conflicts.
Meanwhile, the FSE collective was hard at work: B2B meetings, stakeholder mapping, and the identification of local partnerships on the projects shaping tomorrow’s Saudi Arabia (Expo 2030 Riyadh, the FIFA World Cup 2034, Diriyah Company, Qiddiya and the Sports Boulevard Foundation) concrete opportunities across the full value chain for France Sport Expertise members.
Because these markets don’t open by themselves: they are built, together.
That is exactly why France Sport Expertise exists: fielding France’s sports export team ahead of the tenders.
Among the members mobilised for this edition: Orange, THA by Armonia, Petit Forestier Group, GL events, Osmose Ingénierie, and many more working behind the scenes.
32 companies. One collective ambition.
The Gulf season is open!
