The Africa Sport Expo 2025 kicked off on Thursday 18th December in Casablanca, as France confirmed its status as the guest country of honour for the 2025 edition.

Morocco-France: a partnership of excellence at the service of major sporting events
To open this conference, and as a sign of the quality of relations between our countries, a joint statement was made by Ms Nawal El Moutawakel, gold medallist in the first women’s 400m hurdles in Olympic history (Los Angeles, 1984), former Minister of Sport in Morocco, Vice-President of the Moroccan National Olympic Committee and member of the IOC, accompanied by Mr Damien Combredet-Blassel, our French Ambassador for Sport, who was present alongside the France Sport Expertise collective.
Following the success of this conference, the official inauguration of the 𝗣𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲!
